Finance Education Centre Joins Finance Connect as Corporate Member for 2026. Strengthening industry skills and supporting the future workforce

The Finance Education Centre (FEC) is pleased to announce that it has joined Finance Connect as a Corporate Member and exclusive training partner for 2026, marking an important step in its ongoing mission to support skills development, professional standards and long-term sustainability across the UK asset and commercial finance sector.
The partnership comes at a critical time for the industry. Brokers and funders alike are facing increasing challenges around recruitment, retention and the development of talent with the right technical, commercial and leadership skills. As highlighted recently by another Finance Connect corporate member, building a future-ready workforce requires high-quality, industry-specific education that reflects the realities of today’s market.
Finance Connect was established to address these challenges head-on by creating a premium network for the UK asset finance sector. Central to this offering is a strong focus on education and professional development, ensuring that members at every level, from C-suite leaders to young professionals have access to relevant, practical learning.
The Finance Education Centre recognises that Finance Connect members sit at the forefront of the industry and have a clear appreciation of the value that high-quality training brings to both individual performance and organisational success. Through this partnership, FEC aims to contribute its specialist expertise to support members’ learning and development needs.
Since its launch, the Finance Education Centre has trained over 300 delegates across bespoke and open courses, achieving consistently high satisfaction scores. In response to evolving market demands, the FEC continues to expand its course portfolio. New classes include:
• A mini–Asset Finance Academy, designed to help onboard new starters by focusing on the top three skills they require
• An Intermediate Credit Skills course to further develop proposal writing expertise
• An Introduction to Commercial Finance and Product Knowledge course for those looking to diversify their current offering by branching into Commercial
• A new Leadership and Management course to support the next generation of industry leaders.
Commenting on the partnership, Edward Peck, CEO of Finance Connect said:
